CAMERON - Joseph A., 58, of Ebensburg, passed away September 29, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born December 20, 1966 in Johnstown, the son of George and the late Margaret "Tiny" (Owatt) Cameron.  Preceded in death by mother “Tiny” Cameron and father-in-law Rick Proudfit.  Survived by his father, George;  his wife, the former Danielle (Proudfit) Cameron, both of Ebensburg; daughters: Heather Cameron (Tim) Henderson, Ebensburg;  Lindsey Cameron (Neil) Lee, Colver;  Step-children:  Brittany Moses (Shane) Burkett; Travis Moses and Patrick Moses;  grandchildren:  Trevor, Zackary, Tessa Lee; Isaac Henderson; Mason and Jude Stephens; and Gunner, Gavyn, and Atlas Burkette.  Also survived by sister, Tracy Cameron (David) Dalansky, of Altoona; his mother-in-law Diane Proudfit, of Cresson and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:  Toni (Charlie) Green; Mike (Tammy) Proudfit; Steve (Courtany) Proudfit; Erica (Tony) Proudfit; Todd (Summer) Proudfit; and many nieces and nephews.  Joe also leaves his fur babies "Trixie" and "Lily" who were more like kids than dogs.  He was retired with 20 years service to the Central Cambria School District maintenance department.  Joe loved to hunt and fish, looking for treasures with his metal detector and spending time with his father George, who was indeed his best friend.  Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.  Condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com.
