KUHAR – John Joseph III, 61, of Vintondale, passed away Oct. 8, 2025 at home. Born Oct. 15, 1963 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by his father, John, Jr; and brother, Michael. Survived by his mother, Rosemarie; sisters, Claudine “Dee” (Russell) Bishop; Carol (Robert) Garver; and brother, Paul (Andrea) Kuhar. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and many friends. John worked as a nurses aide at Amber Hills, Ebensburg. Member of Vintondale Trout Club. Lifetime member of the Vintondale Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed fishing in Potter County, watching sports and spending time with family. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
