MOTTIN - Dennis G., Sr., 75, of Ebensburg, passed away on Sunday November 2, 2025 at Maple Heights Health & Rehabilitation Center.   Born on March 3, 1950 in Johnstown, the son of the late Earl and Genevieve (McFarland) Mottin. Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, the former Carol (Mehalko) Mottin, and his brothers Earl, Doug, and Duane Mottin.  Survived by children:  Michelle S. (William) Ferguson of Charleston, South Carolina;  Dennis, Jr. (Shannon) Mottin, Chapin, South Carolina; and Matthew M. Mottin, of Athens, Georgia; grandchildren:  Fisher and Spencer Lingenfelter, Dean Mottin, and Kelly Ferguson.  Also survived by sister and brother:  Sharon (Andrew) Palenchar and Darryl (Patty) Mottin.  Denny was retired from the former Lee Hospital, Johnstown, where he had worked in the housekeeping department.  He had also worked at the former Bethlehem Steel plant in Johnstown.  A devote Christian and a member of the Nanty Glo Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and a member of the Men's Prayer Fellowship group.  A proud conservative, Denny loved the US Constitution and loved to write.  Many will remember Denny for his many letters to the editor to local papers.  He will also be remembered for his giving nature.  He would always give help to others as he had wished he had help in his own time of need.  At his request there will be no viewing.  A Celebration of both Carol and Dennis Mottin's Life will be held Sunday, November 30th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Nanty Glo Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Pastor Russ Havener, officiating; followed by a fellowship reception/dinner on site.  In lieu of flowers, donations in their memory may be made to the Nanty Glo Alliance Church,  1198 Roberts Street,  P.O.
