LEE - Cheryl Diane (Stunkard), 75, of Ebensburg, passed away on Monday January 12, 2026 at her residence.  She was born December 25, 1950 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Chester and Marion (Jones) Stunkard.  She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband Francis Rowen Lee.  She is survived by her son, Paul (Janice) Lee and daughter RoiAnne;  also grandchildren Pedro Mejia, Allizae Lee, and Denise Shearman; and great-grandchildren: Rowen, Camden, and Maelynn Shearman.  Cheryl retired in 2015 as a criminal investigator for the Cambria County District Attorney's Office.  A vibrant spirit, she enjoyed growing up in Ebensburg and sharing stories with her friends.  In her youth she was a member of the Cambria Cadets Jr. Drum and Bugle Corps, where she served in the colorguard and was a member of Theta Rho.  She enjoyed crochet and knitting and spending time with her beloved cat "Buzzy".  At her request there will be no viewing or service.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
