MALLIN- Melissa, 50, of Nanty Glo, passed away Feb. 3, 2026. Born March 26, 1975 in Johnstown, daughter of the late William C. and Deanna (Wilson) Mallin. Preceded in death by sister, Cindy Nagy and step father, Robert "Dale" Gore. Survived by fiance of 26 years, Mike Groves; son, Ben Dunn; daughter, Sam (Kevin Young, Jr.) Groves. Grandchildren, Carson Dunn and Alayna Robatin. Sister of Billy Mallin; Ree (Joe) Soflarsky; Bobby Mallin; and Pete Mallin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Missy enjoyed reading, bingo, horror movies, Stephen King; and girls trips with the misfits. An animal lover, she was a member of 4-H and PETA. At Missy's request, there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
