YOUNKIN - Dawn Cheri, 75, of Ebensburg, passed away Feb. 12, 2026. Born Feb. 23, 1950 in Colver, daughter of the late Joseph "Junior" Grove and Delores Koscho. Preceded in death by brother, Barry Grove; and her son, Joshua, whose birthday was on the same day that Dawn passed. Survived by children, Lisa Kanzler; Sonya Younkin; Gary David Younkin; and Dana Younkin. 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and special great grandson, Andrew Luke Younkin, who she devoted her life to for the last 7 years. Also survived by brother, Dave Grove; sister, Cheryl (John) Natcher; numerous nieces and nephews; son in law, Dave Conard; and daughter in law, Jamie Hurtack. A former State Corrections Officer and former Sheriff of Douglas County, Georgia. As per Dawn's wishes, arrangements are private and in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
