SOLOMON - Rose Marie "Ro" (Baldini), 86, of Windber, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026.  Born on June 14, 1939, in Colver, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Amerigo and Pauline (Gherardi) Baldini.  A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Rose Marie was predeceased by her husband, Allen Solomon, and her sisters, Gloria and Joann.  She is survived by her sister Arlene Oberdank, her daughter Jill Wysocki, married to Ernest, and her son Patrick Solomon.  Rose Marie's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Neil Wysocki, married to Tierney Walls;  Ryan Wysocki, married to Amanda Wysocki (Meier); and Connor Wysocki, who will cherish her memory forever.  Ro was a proud graduate of Lock Haven University and later earned her master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).  She dedicated much of her life to teaching, proudly serving as an English teacher at Central Cambria High School for many years.  After retiring, she embraced her role as a full-time grandmother (Grammy), where her family was everything to her. Her faith in God and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of Ro's life. She was a woman of great kindness and strength, always putting others first, with a heart full of love and compassion. She will be remembered for her generosity, her kindness and her unwavering belief in the importance of family. Rose Marie's family and friends find comfort in knowing that she is at peace, reunited with those she loved dearly, and will forever remain in our hearts.

Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Rev.
