Deirdre “Dee Dee” Toland was born on August 12, 1956 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Alvin Theodore Toland and Lillian Russell Morris Toland.   Preceding her in death were her parents, Alvin Theodore Toland and Lillian Russell Morris Toland; her brothers, Alvin “Sonny” Toland Jr., Earl Toland, Franklin Toland, Keith Toland; and her sister Althea Toland.  She is survived by a brother and sisters, Elizabeth B. Toland-Board, Ernest Toland, Kay Sandra Toland, and Denise Toland Murphy.  Deirdre enjoyed listening to music and any activities that involved music. She enjoyed going on day trips as well as participating in activities at home. She liked spending time with her caretakers but also really enjoyed having quiet time.  Through the years, she enjoyed the company of a foster grandmother. Deirdre, accompanied by her grandma, was often seen strolling across grounds with her sunglasses on and purse in hand. She was also a member of the Ebensburg Center Red Hat Society.  Deirdre will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
