Tyler Wilson Obituary

WILSON –Tyler Ronald Joseph, “T”, 26, of Ebensburg, passed away in his home on Monday, March 23, 2026.

He was born on November 11, 1999 to Randy Wilson and the late Laura Lorditch.

Tyler is preceded in death by his mother, Laura; sister, Eve-Lin; maternal grandmother, Linda Lorditch; paternal grandfather, Ronald Wilson; and his four-legged best buddy, Cody.

He is survived by his father, Randy; mother, Mary (Gatto) Wilson; his sisters, Francesca (Colin) Snyder, Alexa Ritchey, Marisa (Paul) Wilson; and four-footed sister, Jerzey; grandmothers, Marge Wilson and Doris Gatto; grandfather, Ron Lorditch; his best friend and cousin, Michael Lorditch; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was a beloved and cherished uncle to nieces: Izabella and Reese, and nephews: Asher, Wes, and Rory.

Tyler graduated from Central Cambria High School in 2018 and joined the United States Marine Corps where he spent 6 years as an Intelligence Specialist. He was a team leader and friend to his fellow Marines. Tyler was the recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in 2023. He was committed to lifelong learning and loved to read and talk about history and literature and enjoyed chatting over a good movie. His favorite pastimes included spending time with his dad watching NBA games, going for runs and bike rides, exploring new music, and talking podcasts and pop culture. His dad was his best friend and light of his life.

Tyler lived each day with a heart to help others and make those around him smile and laugh. His greatest joy was being with those he loved and having genuine conversation as he was the best listener and confidant. Nothing is more true than this: To know T was to love him, and he loved his own with his whole being. We mourn him with happy memories and will honor him in our hearts until we meet again.
