Lois Ann Weimer Obituary

WEIMER – Lois Ann, 92, of Indiana, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away May 21, 2026 at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana. Born March 7, 1934 in St. Benedict, daughter of the late Renard Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Miller) Sergent. Preceded in death by husband, John; sons, Tim, Randy and Chris; daughter, Theresa; and sister, Carol. Survived by children, Renard (BettyJane) Weimer; Joseph (Joyce) Weimer; and Carol Rymer. Grandchildren, Johnny, MariBeth, Johanna, Brandon, Kasey, Ricky, Joshua, Randall, Justine, Jeremiah, Christopher, Kristin, Ashley, Brad, Courtney, Billy, William, Theresa, Monica and Joey. Numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Barry and David; and sisters, Judy and Suzanne.


Life member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Lois was the oldest living member of the Nanty Glo Moose. Member of Nanty Glo Polish Club. Social member of Nanty Glo American Legion.


Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Timothy Harris, TOR., officiating.  Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
