CAMERON - George Austin, 85, of Ebensburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at home.  Born December 29, 1940 in Osceola Mills, Clearfield County, son of the late Harvey and Margaret (Lego) Cameron.  Preceded in death by his step father, Michael Huska; wife, Margaret Ellen "Tiny" (Owatt) Cameron; son, Joseph A. Cameron; brothers, Harvey Cameron and Robert Huska; and sisters, Patty Huska and Peggy Cameron.  He is survived by his daughter, Tracy (David) Dalansky and daughter-in-law, Danielle Cameron.  Also survived by grandchildren:  Heather (Tim) Henderson; Lindsey (Neil) Lee; Brittany Burkett, Travis and Patrick Moses; great-grandchildren:  Isaac Henderson;  Trevor, Zack, and Tessa Lee; Mason and Jude Stevens; and Gunner, Gavyn and Atlas Burkett.  George was retired from US Steel Corp., Johnstown.  A proud US Army veteran.  George loved to fish and hunt with his late son, Joseph.  He spent many hours looking for arrowheads and flints and spent endless hours with his granddaughter.   A member of the Ebensburg First Christian Church.   Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday June 1st at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Committal Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday June 2nd (George and Tiny's Anniversary date) at Holy Name Mausoleum, Pastor Jeff Rupp, officiating.
