Sally Jane Radebach Obituary
RADEBACH – Sally Jane (Johnson ), 92, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of a life well lived.
Born on July 4, 1933, in Blacklick Township, Sally brought a spark of joy into the world from the very beginning—a spirit she carried with her throughout her 92 years. She was the daughter of the late George and Sara (Rager) McCully and was reunited in rest with her beloved husband, John C. Radebach, along with her siblings George and William McCully, Samuel and Daniel Dean Johnson, Mary Lou O’Farrel and Ruth Ann Burkey.
Sally’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Barry G. Radebach; Cynthia L. (Brent) Lantzy; Kevin S. Radebach; and Keith M. Radebach. She was a devoted and cherished grandmother to Kristi (Blake) Lantzy-Cecchine, Brent (Karly) Lantzy, Jonathan Lantzy, Melissa (Brian) Abod, and Nathan, Aleshia, Brandon, and Jack Allen Radebach. Her legacy continues to grow through her treasured great-grandchildren—Lillian and Deklin Cecchine, and Cohen, Felix, Isaiah, Bridie, and Xavier Lantzy—who knew her lovingly as “Grammy.”
Sally worked for many years as a cafeteria worker for the Central Cambria School District, where her warm presence and caring nature touched countless lives. At home, she was known as an exceptional cook and baker, filling her kitchen—and the hearts of those around her—with comfort, laughter, and her unforgettable cookies.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: camping trips, tending to her beautiful flowers, and spending time outdoors. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her family, creating memories that will be held close for generations. A lifelong lover of animals, Sally opened her home and heart to many dogs over the years, offering them the same kindness she gave so freely to everyone around her.
Sally will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, and the love she shared so effortlessly. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Asa Sherman. Interment will take place at Lloyd Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Sally’s memory to Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA 15701 (www.fourfootedfriends.org).
