Giovacchini- Dianna (Gabelli), formally of Crestwood Estates Ebensburg, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord on June 12, 2026, at John Paull II Manor, Cresson. Born August 24, 1938 at home in Nanty Glo.  She was the daughter of the late Arnold and Mary (Gaza) Gabelli; granddaughter of the late maternal grandparents Robert and Palmira Gazza and paternal grandparents Joseph and Estherina Gabelli.  Dianna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr Larry Giovacchini; son David Giovacchini; brother in law Donald Pierson; and sisters in law Carroll and Rae Ann Giovacchini.  She is survived by her loving sisters Babara (Kenneth) Martinazzi and Eilleen Pierson, and brother Arnold Gabelli; daughter in law Lois (Brandwene); beloved grandchildren Lido and Isabel (Gabriel Robles) Giovacchini; brothers in law Dennis and Thomas Giovacchini; cousins, nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews, whom she also loved so much.

Dianna retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources following 42 years of dedicated services. She devoted countless hours to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society Ebensburg, serving as President and managing the thrift store for over 25 years.

Dianna was a faithful member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church; member of the Catholic Daughters of America; an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary. 

Known for her grace, elegance, and gentle spirit, Dianna possessed a timeless sense of style and an enduring charm that brightened every room she entered. Whether through her warm smile, thoughtful kindness, or impeccable appearance, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She carried herself with dignity and poise, enriching the lives of family, friends, parishioners, and all those fortunate enough to cross her path. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at the Holy Name Church Narthex, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Brian Warchola.  Entombment will follow at Holy Name Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianna's memory may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).  Arrangements are in the care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc.
