Boring - Mamie (Simmers), 86, Nanty Glo, died Dec. 14, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 2, 1918, in Nanty Glo, daughter of James and Susie (Grant) Simmers. Preceded in death by husband, Arthur J. Boring; brothers and sisters: James, Mary McDonald, Alice Cunningham, Helen Smith, Joseph, and infant sister, Margaret. Survived by brother and sisters: Clara Smith, Nanty Glo; Mildred Bellish, New Jersey; Dorothy Lonergan, and husband, Paul; Robert Simmers, and wife, Ida, all of Nanty Glo; sister-in-law, Vivian Simmers, Erie; and special niece, Nancy Peroni, New Jersey. She was a member of the Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., the Rev. John Snyder officiating. Interment, E.U.B. Cemetery, Belsano.
