Obituary of Paul K. Kim, Sr.

KIM - Paul K., Sr., 82, of Ebensburg, passed away on May 26, 2023 at Meyersdale Rehabilitation Hospital.  Born June 12, 1940 in Belsano, son of the late George and Elma (Long) Kim.  Preceded in death by daughter Sheila Cobb, son Kenneth Kim, and sisters, Clara Morris Krumenaker, Charlotte (Bobbie) DiDomenico, and Cathy Scott.  Survived by wife, the former Esther (Koss) Kim, to whom he was married 51 years; and children:  Paul (Abi) Kim, Jr., Red Lion, Pa.;  Daniel (Beth) Kim, Ebensburg, Pa.; Bryan Kim, Miami, Fl., and Jeremiah (Amy) Kim, Ebensburg; son-in-law Tony Cobb;  12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and another on the way.  Also survived by brother, George Kim; and sisters:  Ruth Carney, Shirley Edmiston, and Avanell Kim Bender.  Paul was the president/owner of Central Tank & Tower Company, Ebensburg.   A proud Army veteran, he was a member of Blue Lodge F & AM;  National Rifle Association and the Eagles Club, Florida.   A Memorial Service and funeral luncheon will be held Saturday, June 3rd, at 11:00 a,m, at the Ebensburg United Methodist Church, Rev Ashley Weyant, officiating.   Entombment in the family crypt at Lloyd Cemetery at a later date..  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Condolences to the family may be sent to www.askew-houser.com
