Obituary of Gary L. Walker

Walker - Gary L., 47, of Nanty Glo formerly of Jackson Twp. went home to be with the Lord, December 21, 2004. Born February 5, 1957 in Johnstown, son of the late Walter "Red" and Erma (Boring) Walker. Preceded death by sister Donna Walker. Survived by sister and caregiver, Nancy Walker, with whom he resided and brothers David & wife Carol, of Maryland; William & wife Sharon, of Maine; Robert & wife Wanda, of Maryland; Kenneth Walker, of Mundys Corner; and Thomas & wife Darlene, of Ebensburg. Also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Employed by the Association of the Blind & Handicapped, Ebensburg Division, for the past 25 years. Member of Jackson Twp. Senior Center. Had attended Vinco Brethren Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc, Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, the Rev. Noah Martin, officiating. Interment Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to A.R.C. , 960 Bedford St., Johnstown, PA 15902 or the charity of your choice.
