PAUL – Larry L, 72, Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Nanty Glo, Pa. and Millville, New Jersey passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Jupiter, Florida. Born December 6, 1938 in Johnstown, son of the late Everett and Eleanor Paul. Preceded in death by an infant son Bryan. He graduated in 1957 from Nanty-Glo / Vintondale High School, where he played a mean game of football. In 1958 he entered the United States Marines Corp. and in 1959 he married his high school girlfriend Darla Gore, they were married over fifty years. He is survived by his wife Darla, his daughter Lynda and her husband Brad Wilkins from Port Charlotte, Florida; brother Terry Paul and his wife Donna from Nanty Glo, and his very special sister Carol and her husband Daniel Spangler from Harrisburg, PA. Larry & Darla after retirement left their home of forty years in Millville, NJ and moved to Port Charlotte, FL to be closer to Lynda and Brad. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 5 at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., 1310 Shoemaker St., Nanty-Glo, Pa. , with the Rev. Mark Lanz officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
