MOSSO - Violet J., formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away November 24, 2018 at Cambria Care Center. Born June 22, 1923 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Constantino and Teresa (Vesco) Mosso. Last surviving member of her immediate family, she was proceeded in death by her sister, Ellie Edmonds, and brothers: Joseph, John, and Guy Mosso. Violet is survived by several nephews. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and the Altar-Rosary Society. At her request there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, Dec. 4th, at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Fr. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Violet’s memory may be made through spiritual bouquets, masses, or donations to her church. Arrangements are in the care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
