SHEESLEY - Barbara Ann (Kuhar) “Barbie”, 64, of Vintondale, went to be with the Lord , January 10, 2013 at Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital. Born August 27, 1948 in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Stella (Abromavich) Kuhar. Preceded in death by husband, Gary Lee, Sr. and daughter, Melissa Ann Sheesley. Survived by sons, Gary Lee Jr. (Valerie); Brian Keith (Tracie); and John Leslie (Diane). Grandchildren, Gary Lee III, Alexander, Joshua, Johnny, Kaylee, John-Caleb, Dakoda, Daniel, Jordan, Sadie, and Destinie. Sister of John Jr. (Rosemarie); James; Thomas (Cheryl); Steve (Peggy); Kathy (Michael) Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of the former Sts. Timothy & Mark Chapel, Vintondale. Barbie enjoyed cooking and bird watching. She always lived her life for her children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbie's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
