LERMINEAUX – Albert, Jr. “Al”, 58, of Mont Alto, formerly of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord November 4, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 6, 1954 in Johnstown, son of the late Albert Sr. and Betty (Ling) Lermineaux. Survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Priscilla (Davis) Stephens Lermineaux; children, Christopher (fiancé, Crystal Crummit) Stephens; Michelle (fiancé, Steve Chipps) Lermineaux; Angela (Dustin) Stainbrook; and Albert III (Sondra) Lermineaux. Also survived by grandchildren, Isaac, Alex, Albert IV, Liam, Analysa, Nevaeh, Niya, and one grandson on the way; as well as several nieces. A 1972 graduate of Johnstown High School. Al also attended Hiram G. Andrews; and Mt. Aloysius and Clarion College. He was an avid Steelers fan, loved sports and brought his talents to coach softball, where he won a 1989 championship for JR’s Sports Den. He also coached a softball team for Nanty Glo United Methodist Church as well as little league for his son and grandsons and helped with Pee Wee football. Al retired from the custodial department of Johnstown High School. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10a.m. on Wednesday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Al’s memory may be made to his family.
