CUNNINGHAM - Jack L., 91, of Singer Hill, passed away May 13, 2018. Born May 28, 1926 in Johnstown, son of the late S. Clayton and Izora (Kerr) Cunningham. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty K. Cunningham; daughter, Arleen Giesey; step brother, Dale and step sisters, Grace Horn, Freida Hastie, Ruth Simmons, and Anne Zimmerman. Survived by sons, Donald L. Cunningham and David W. (Danae) Cunningham; grandchildren, Thomas (Trudy) Giesey, Kelly, Kristi, Lindsay, Emily, Austin, and Logan Cunningham; great grandchildren, Madison, Owen, and Connor Giesey, and Tyree Thomas Draher, Jr. Also survived by brother-in-law, Edward N. (Chris) Connor, Jr.; brother-in-law, Ted (Laverne) Hoover; and beloved nieces, nephews and their families. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., formerly of Johnstown; and the Central Cambria School District. Army veteran of World War II; staff sergeant; bronze star recipient. Member of American Legion #363, Ebensburg; and the 87th Infantry Division Golden Acorn Association. A joint memorial service and interment for both Jack and Betty Cunningham is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Grandview Cemetery, 801 Millcreek Road, Johnstown, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
