FOX – Forrest Walter “Forry”, 58, of Mineral Point, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2018. Born March 12, 1960 in Johnstown. Proceeded in death by father Clifford Fox Sr, sister Cynthia Weiland, brother Clifford Fox Jr., and niece Trisha Fox. Loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend. Survived by beloved wife Debra (Dornburg) Fox, Mineral Point, children; Corey (Becky) Fox, Johnstown and Brianna Fox (Taylor Swires), Ebensburg, and mother Mary Ruth Fox (Seymour), Ebensburg. Also survived by sisters; Janice (Rodger) Wilson, Ebensburg, Theresa (Eugene) Pileski, New Germany, Lorraine (Joseph) Yolis, Belleville, Mary (Marty) Woomer, Wilmore, Tracey (Jim) Bopp, Mineral Point, brothers; Bryan Fox, Ebensburg; Douglas Fox, Mineral Point and faithful companion Tigger, as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, and friends. A 1979 graduate of Central Cambria High school, he was employed by Smith Sawmill for 20 years and Wal-Mart Ebensburg for 4 years. Active in sports, he lettered in football his junior and senior years as well as baseball during his senior year. He also was a participant in the Ken Lantzy football game his senior year. Forry enjoyed golf, softball (Cannon), hunting, fishing, and darts. An avid sports fan he enjoyed the Pirates, Steelers, Nascar, and his orange cougar. At his request there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 28th, at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in Forry’s memory may be made to his family. Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
