SMITH – Nancy Lucille, 68, of Nanty Glo, died Aug. 1, 2012 at Seimon’s Lakeview Manor, Somerset. Born May 15, 1944 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Clarence G. and Mildred L. (Miller) Deffenbaugh. Preceded in death by sisters, Laverne Rager and Shirley Seibert; and infant daughter, Jane. Survived by children, Ronald (Mary) Smith; Thomas (Pam) Smith; Kathy Jo Smith; and Anna Marie Smith. Brothers, Clarence M. (Diane) Deffenbaugh; Ronald W. (Sara) Deffenbaugh; Harry H. (Nancy J.) Deffenbaugh, Sr.; Joe D. (Janel) Piper; Jack (Darlene) Martin; Larry P. (Janice) Deffenbaugh. Sisters, Maxine (James) Hartman; Rosella Martin-Dulick; and Janet Marie Piper-Vogel. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her furry best friend, Mama Kitty. Nancy enjoyed her soap operas, watching Syfy, coloring and jewelry. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements in care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
