STILES – Ruby I., 96, of Strongstown, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 13, 2018. Born March 28, 1922 in West Virginia. Preceded in death by husband, Irvin; and several brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter, Mabel Weaver; grandson, Dwight (Judy) Weaver; and great grandchildren, Andrea, Kristina and Stephen. Member of Strongstown United Methodist Church. She worked as a seamstress at the Nanty Glo Dress Factory until its closure and also did alterations for many private clients. Ruby was an avid Bible reader. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Pastor Bob Westrick, officiating. Interment, Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
