ZARNESKY – David Alan, 56, of Vintondale, passed away July 28, 2017. Born July 25, 1961 in Johnstown, son of the late Bernard and Martha (Wojnar) Zarnesky. Preceded in death by infant son, Brett; sisters, Martha and Barbara; and brother, Sylvester. Survived by wife of 25 years, Karen (Treese) Zarnesky; mother and father in law, Diane and Gary Boring; children, Derek (Kimberly); Justin (Shannon); Ashley; and Cierra. Granddaughter, Noelle. Brother of Blair (Marge) Zarnesky; Martin (Ren) Zarnesky; and Bridget (Peter) Byich. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and sister in law, Lisa Treese. Retired from UMWA, Consol Coal; and Operating Engineers Local 66. Dave will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Pastor Rich Stock, officiating.
