Obituary of Daniel E. Younkin

YOUNKIN – Daniel E., 42, Strongstown RD, has gone on to be with the Lord January 7, 2013 at home. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born July 7, 1970, in Johnstown, son of late Edward and Dolly Younkin. Preceded in death by his brother, William R. Younkin, sister, Rose M. Younkin, nieces, Jessica and Lindsey Oros, and great-niece Ayden Jane McKinley. Survived by brothers, Michael W. (Janice) Younkin, George J. (Debra) Younkin; sisters, Christine L. Krieger and Susan G. (Tom) Oros; sister-in-law, Sandy Bracken (of the late William R. Younkin), 12 nieces and nephews,9 great-nieces and nephews;and special friend,Johnny Ray. A graduate of Vinco Center. Daniel had a sweet childlike innocence and showed unconditional love to everyone around him. He enjoyed church, music, dancing and wrestling. Words cannot express the abundance of love and kindness he gave to everyone. He was truly loved and a blessing to family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Dr. Dvorchak, Miners Medical Center and Staff, Cambria Home Health and Medi Home Hospice. At the request of the family there will be no viewing. A gathering will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday at Morning Star Ministries, Lighthouse Church, 4886 Route 240 Highway, Cherry Tree, Pa. 15724, Pastors Ken and Wilda Brown, officiating.
