SAJKO – Eric S., 33, of Glen Rock, formerly of Vinco, passed away Oct. 6, 2012 at home. Born June 19, 1979 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Tressia Sajko; and maternal grandparents, Harvey and Clara Goughnour. Survived by parents, John and Linda Sajko; sister, Stacey Sharland; brother, John (Angela) Sajko; nieces, Ashleigh Sharland and Kali Sajko, goddaughter; nephew, John Sajko III; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Social member of Glen Rock American Legion Post 403. Eric enjoyed music, playing pool, cooking; and loved taking care of his dog, Bruce. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10a.m. on Saturday, Pastor Beth Holz, officiating. Interment to follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.A memorial service will also be held at 2p.m. on Oct. 21, 2012 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 1 New Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327.
