PRICE – Garth Alan, 63, of Connellsville, passed away Jan. 12, 2019 at home. Born March 24, 1955 in Lewistown, son of the late Jesse Alfred and Nellie Mae (Betlyon) Price. Preceded in death by niece, Janelle Price. Survived by children, Shannon Price, Nanty Glo; Jessica (Mike) Ritchey, Loretto; and Garth (Sara) Price, Ligonier. Also survived by ex-wife, Cheryl (Joe) Price, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Noah Ritchey; Alex Marquis; Mia Price; and Gracie Price. Brother of Sue Auman, Newport, PA; and Jesse (Jan) Price, Huntsville, AL. Also survived by fiance, Carol Klippi, of Connellsville. Garth was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football fan, loved bowling, and his puppy, Molly. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, the Rev. Walter Misner, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Garth’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, to support the fight against lung cancer.
