HOBBA – Deanna A. “DeDe”, 57, of Jackson Twp., went to be with the Lord Oct. 15, 2017. Born Sept. 27, 1960 in Colver. Survived by parents, Richard Edward and Yvonne M. (Guiher) Fye; and husband, Robert, of 26 years. Although Deanna had no children, she was like a mother to every child she knew. Sister of Richard (Sherrylyn) Fye; Sherry (Gerald) Mardis; Maggie (Bob) Johnson; and Becky Keen. Deanna was a second mother to nephews, Aidan and Tyler. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Laurie Swartz. Member of Nanty Glo Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, where she touched so many young lives by being in various children’s activities. She took so much joy in sharing God’s word and love with children and everyone she knew. Floral Designer for 25 years with Schrader's Florist & Greenhouse, Bedford Street, Johnstown. Her last request was… Be the people God wants you to be. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Pastor Bud Vogel, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Deanna’s memory may be made to Nanty Glo C & M.A. Church.
