LEWIS – Helen, 87, of Nanty Glo, passed away Aug. 3, 2009, daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Gronski) Kowalczyk. Preceded in death by husband, James; children, Joe, Barb, Jim, Pete and Ronnie; grandson, Jimbo; granddaughter Betsy; great grandson, Baby Zayne; three brothers; a sister; sons in law, Bill and Bo;and daughter in law, Michele. Survived by daughters, Dorothy (Ed); Betty; and Melma (Butch); niece, Colleen; 18 Grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; daughters in law, Cindy and Joann. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:00pm on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Deacon Tom Buige, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Helen’s memory may be made to her family.
