ELLIS – Shirley A. (Haymaker), 74, of Nanty Glo, was called to be with the Lord Oct. 5, 2011 at home. Born April 11, 1937 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Thomas Martin and Sarah Ann (Uncapher) Haymaker. Preceded in death by husband, Robert W. Ellis, Sr.; son Thomas R.; five brothers and three sisters. Survived by children, Margaret (Dale) Wyse; Laura (Robert) Chirdon; Robert Jr.(Veronica); James (Elaine); Paul (Jacqueline); Donald (Patsy); Sarah (Darrin) Reese; Cathy (fiancé Tim Mallin)Ellis; and Shirley (fiancé Joe Revesz) Ellis; 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Betty Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church, Revloc. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery, officiating. Interment to follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
