SILVIS Paul L., 85, of Homer City, passed away April 12, 2015 at Indiana Regional Hospital. Born May 27, 1929 in Pine Twp., son of the late Matilda Estella Silvis. Preceded in death by wives, Ruth and Millie; sons, Paul Jr. and David; daughter Kathy; brother, William and sisters: Zelma and Dorothy. Survived by several step-children and three grandchildren; brothers: Gene, Coral, Pa; Lewis Jim ; Homer City and Lucille Peg of Blairsville. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was a retired diesel mechanic having worked his career in Ohio. He returned to this area upon his retirement. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and running his back hoe. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m., until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Eric Means, officiating.
