GROVE Heather A., 35, of Vinco, went to be with the Lord Nov. 11, 2015 at home. Born April 9, 1980 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Daniel and Colleen Zak; paternal grandparents, Joseph M. and Mary Agnes Akens; and uncle, Robert Zak. Survived by father, James J. Akens; mother, Pamela M. (Zak) Akens; husband, Darrin Grove; children, Jack, Josie and Benjamin Winkelman; step children, Ben and Emma Grove; brother, Dustin (Melanie) Akens; special aunt, Jeannie Roberts; special uncle, Dennis Zak; as well as many relatives and friends. Heather enjoyed reading, watching movies and spending time with her children and her cats, Vinnie and Gypsy. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc. Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather s memory may be made to her mother, Pamela to help with funeral expenses.
