BUCK – James Leroy, 94, of Colver went to be with the Lord, Nov. 24, 2011 at Harmony House Manor, Johnstown. Born Dec. 1, 1916 in Colver, son of the late Orville and Della (Rainey) Buck. Preceded in death by wife, Iva Marie; brother Robert; and sisters Helen Louise McCleaster and Hazel Helsel. Survived by children, Carole (Butch) Helsel, Altoona; and Gary (Margaret) Buck, Johnstown. Grandchildren, Mindy, Tina and Bryan (fiancé Christy Detwiller) Helsel; Gary James II (fiancé Jessica Cadwallader) Buck; and Janel (Jeff) Simmons. Great Grandchildren, Dakota and Jenna Helsel; Kay Lee Lill; Jessica, Cody and Corey Simmons; and Haleigh Buck. Retired from the former Eastern Gas & Coal, Colver. Member UMWA. James enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers, and golf. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, Deacon Thomas Buige, officiating. Entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
