AMIGH – Dorothy Frances, 88, of Jackson Twp., passed away Feb. 12, 2013. Born May 19, 1924 in Conemaugh, daughter of the late Lewis and Margaret Maye (Tyson) Amigh. Preceded in death by brothers, Harry, Abraham and David Allen Amigh; sisters, Mary Jane Alexander and Pearl Yarina. Survived by brothers, Jim (Donna) Amigh; Paul (Betty) Amigh; sisters, Irene Bailey; Ruth Alexander; Elsie Alexander; Kathy (Charlie) Grove; and Gail Walker; sister in law, Wendy Amigh; special nephews, Stephen (Beth) Yarina; Darrin (Heather) Grove; Dennis (Stacey) Grove; Jordan Grove; Ben Grove; and Andrew Yarina; special nieces, Emma Grove; and Addison Yarina; also numerous other nieces and nephews as well as good friends, David (Sharon) Killen. Dorothy was a life member and dispatcher for Jackson Twp. Vol. Fire Company, for over 30 years, as KRP-753 Base. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, gardening flowers and caring for her rabbits, as well as making maple syrup. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery, officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
