ROSE – Frances J. “Toots”, 85, of Johnstown, passed away Dec. 20, 2017. Born Oct. 15, 1932 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frederick and Marie (Blackner) Mohle. Preceded in death by husband, Galen B. “Muzzy” Rose; daughter, Sherry L. Wilson; and son in law, Ed Keilman. Survived by children, Galen J. Rose; and Tammy L. Keilman. Grandchildren, Cassidy Keilman, Colt Keilman and Dan Wilson. Also survived by sister, Marge Reesey; brothers, Fred, Henry and Wayne; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed being outside and working in her yard and garden. A special thanks to her sister, Marge and her husband, Chuck, for their help and support through this difficult time, as well as thanks to The Rose of Sharon Home, Conemaugh Hospice and Conemaugh Palliative Care Unit for making her as comfortable as possible in her final days. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Bill Warrick, officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.
