HOFFER – William Edward “Pap”, 73, of Nanty Glo, joined the heavenly choir on October 24, 2012. Born in Chicago in 1939, son of the late Wilbert and Elizabeth Hoffer. Preceded in death by wife, Violet; granddaughter, Renee; grandson, Nickey; two step great grandchildren; brothers, Robert and James; and son in law, Herbert Behner. Survived by daughter, Donna Jean Behner, of Whitney, Texas; 10 step children; 45 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 37 great great grandchildren. Retired sign hanger for Nu-Lite Sign Company. US Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict. Member of Nanty Glo VFW Post 3489, Steve Klosz VFW Post 7605,Twin Rocks, L.O.O.M., and American-Polish Citizens Club, Nanty Glo. Bill was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears fan. Arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s memory may be made to Nanty Glo VFW Post 3489.
