AMIGH - Paul F., 76, of Jackson Twp., passed away Sept. 14, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 7, 1938 in Johnstown, son of the late Louis and Margaret Mae (Tyson) Amigh. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jane Alexander, Pearl Elaine " Sis" Yarina and Dorothy Amigh; brothers, Harry, Abraham, and David Amigh and George Boring. Survived by loving wife, Betty ( Buffoni) Amigh, married on April 21, 2006; daughter, Melissa Dawn; granddaughters, Lauren and Nicole Taylor; sisters, Irene Bailey, Ruth Alexander, Elsie Alexander, Catherine (Charlie) Grove and Gail Walker; brother, James (Donna) Amigh; dear friend, David "Bub" (Sharon) Killen; sister in law, Wendy Amigh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. Retired from BethEnergy Mine # 33 as a shuttle car operator; and also was a long haul truck driver. Honorary member of the Ebensburg Cambria High School Class of 1955. Lifetime member of Jackson Twp. Vol. Fire Company, where he served as trustee and was a member of the fire police. Member of Central District Volunteer Firemens Assoc. and Volunteer Firemens Assoc. of Cambria County and Vicinity. Member of Black Lung Assoc. of Cambria County. Member UMWA. Member of Jackson Twp. Senior Citizens Club. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. John Vianney Church, the Very Rev. Andrew C. Stanko, VF, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jackson Twp. Vol. Fire Co. or for Masses for Paul.
