UGOLETTI - Mario, 84, of Vintondale, died February 8, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 6, 1922, in Dilltown, son of the late Roberto and Maria (Serventi) Ugoletti. Preceded in death by brothers Peter Bagati, Louis Bagati, Dino Bagati, Gildo Bagati, Licinio Ugoletti, Delio Ugoletti, Joseph Ugoletti, and sister, Alvina Girolami. Survived by wife, former Geraldine Verba, Vintondale; son, Mario L. Ugoletti, married to former Rhonda L. Plowman, of Gainesville, Virginia; also survived by special nephew and niece, Vince and Mary Ugoletti, and many other nieces and nephews. Member of the Mundy's Corner Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He worked for Vintondale Coal & Coke for many years. Retired as shift foreman from Bethlehem Mine 33, Ebensburg. He served in World War II with the Navy Air Corps. Mario was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed gardening, dog racing, and watching football and baseball. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Brother Harold Swanson officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
