Obituary of Richard D. Crawford

CRAWFORD – Richard D., 78, of Blacklick Twp. passed away Feb. 5, 2013 at home. Born May 28, 1934 in Belsano, son of the late Dale and Grace (Bracken) Crawford. Preceded in death by son Terry. Survived by wife of 59 years, the former Gaynelle Snedden; and children, Rick, of Cresson; Ted, of Nanty Glo; Randy and wife Cathy, of Georgia; Tim, of Colver; and Jennifer, of Sinking Spring, PA. 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Ronald, of Revloc and Thomas and wife Ann,of Roaring Spring. Richard was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and an avid hunter and Steeler fan. He enjoyed many hunting trips with his sons. Retired from L. Robert Kimball & Associates after 35 years of service. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger, officiating. Interment, Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Richard's memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
