FENCHAK Anna, 87, of Strongstown, went to be with the Lord June 29, 2015. Born Sept. 18, 1927 in Revloc, daughter of the late Peter and Anna Stoyka. Preceded in death by husband, Charles; son, John; and infant brother, Peter. Survived by children, Gloria Kim; Charles R. (Linda); Anna (Jim) McGary; Mary (Tom) Little; Joyce Shaw; Peter (Tina); Donald; and Barbara (Joe) Kintz. 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Member of Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo. Anna enjoyed family get-togethers and loved cooking and baking. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be held that evening. Brief Service at 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy at Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Very Rev. George Hnatko. Interment to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery, Vintondale. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo.
