Elliott - Elizabeth Ann, 79, Nanty Glo, passed away December 18, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center, Downtown Campus. Born February 26, 1926 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Gomer Benjamin and Elizabeth (Fresh) Evans. Preceded in death by husband George E. Elliott, brother William and sister, Alice Summerson. Survived by daughter, Georgia, married to the former Edward D. Buckingham, Conway, Pa.; son, Robert, and wife, Theresa (Glavach) of Cross Plains, Tennessee; also five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Martin, Friedens; and brother, G. Benjamin Evans, Thomasville, North Carolina. Had attended the Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. Retired trimmer from the former Bobbi Brooks Dress Factory, with 20 years of service.
Friends will be received from 3-9 P.M., Tuesday, at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. John H. Snyder, officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
