DeMARCO – Jean Louise (Gallagher), 83, of Nanty Glo, passed away Sept. 22, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 29, 1925 in Amsbury, PA, daughter of the late Augustine and Naomi Gallagher. Preceded in death by first husband, Salvatore Danzo; second husband, Charles DeMarco; and sisters, Rita McClensey and Mary Mercedes Johnson. Survived by children, Edith Fandrey; Christine Danzo; and Ralph (Laura) DeMarco; 5 Grandchildren; sister, Norma (Sam) Barosky; brother James (Joan) Gallagher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 10:00am until 11:00 am Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes., Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Committal, St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville.
