Hartman - Barbara J. (Ford), 65, of Station Road, Twin Rocks, died February 24, 2007 at Miners Hospital of Northern Cambria County, Spangler. Born July 1, 1941 in Johnstown, daughter of Margaret Susan Ford. Survived by husband, Russell W. "Shorty" Hartman, to whom she was married 7 years; sons: Robert G. (Pamela) Ressler, Nanty Glo; James F. (Georgina) Ressler; Johnstown; stepchildren: William L. Hartman, Ohio; Gregory R. (Jeanine) Hartman, Twin Rocks; Allan R. Hartman and Eleanor Pearl Schroeder, all of Ohio. Also survived by six grandchildren, one great-grandson, one step-great grandson, and cousin Shirley Flecher, of Nanty Glo.
Barbara was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Twin Rocks. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, flea markets, spoiling her grandchildren with candy, and always remembering to send birthday cards to her family.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, the Rev. Asa Sherman, officiating. Interment at Benshoff Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.
