DOMONKOS - David M. "Ick," 52, Windber, went to be with the Lord May 20, 2009, at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 14, 1956, in Windber, son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Mihalcik) Domonkos. Also preceded in death by father-in-law, Thomas Rollo, and nephew, Ryan Lape. Survived by loving wife of 30 years, Monica (Rollo) Domonkos; and sons: Matthew David Domonkos, Akron, Ohio; and Marc Joseph Domonkos and Dane Mykel Domonkos, both at home; also family dog, Kobe. Brother of Richard Domonkos, and wife, the former Kathleen Felix, Ebensburg; and Gregory Domonkos, and wife, the former Carol Morgart; and Renee (Domonkos), wife of Scott Berkey, both of Windber. Also survived by mother-in-law, Leona (Dembinsky) Rollo, Windber; brother-in-law, Thomas Rollo, and wife, Sandy, Steubenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and close family friends. David was a 1975 graduate of Windber Area High School and a graduate of Dean Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh. He was a partner of CAMCO and AEC Inc., both of Ebensburg Industrial Park, where he served as corporate secretary for 27 years. David was a loving husband and a devoted father, who was very active with his sons in the Bishop McCort football and hockey programs. For the past 10 years, he was a fixture on the sidelines at the varsity footaball games assisting the kickers and working the penalty box at hockey games. His hobbies included hunting, golfing, car restoration and riding motorcycles with his wife and sons. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment, St. Anthony's Cemetery. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Research for Multiple Myeloma or Bishop McCort Athletics in David's name.
