ZEGLEN Stanley J. "Zeg," 86, Twin Rocks, died May 27, 2009, holding the hand of his loving wife of 63 years. Born March 29, 1923, in Windber, son of the late Joseph and Bernice (Barnus) Zeglen. Last surviving member of immediate family. Preceded in death by grandson, Domonic Previte, and sisters, Caroline Krupa, Anne Homick and Helen Kotelnicki. Survived by wife, the former Althea Lanzendorfer, Twin Rocks; children: Georgina (Jay) Dino; Gregory (Patti); and Margaret (Anthony) Previte, all of Belsano; Joseph (Carol), Nanty Glo; Janet Zeglen (Daniel); and James (Wendy), all of Strongstown; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Member of SS. Timothy and Mark Catholic Church, Twin Rocks. Air Force veteran. Member of Blue Goose Sportsmen's Club, Nanty Glo Rod and Gun Club, Twin Rocks VFW Post 7605 and was one of the founders of Twin Rocks Cardiff Sportsmen's Club and Joe's Camp. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where Liturgical Wake will be held Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS. Timothy and Mark Church, the Rev. Father James H. Conrad, STL, celebrant. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks.
