KOHUTE – Thelma, 90, Parma Heights, Ohio, formerly of Colver, died June 11, 2009, in Ohio. Born Sept. 27, 1918, in Derry, daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth (Kuba) Mihalik. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Judy; and sisters, Toots Lapina and Velma Mansure; brothers, Michael, George, Steve and John; and son-in-law, Vern Kallejian. Survived by daughters, Betty Ann, wife of Sam Frontino, Broadview Heights, Ohio, and Bonita Springs, Fla., and Martha Kallejian, Santa Fe, N.M. Devoted "Bubba" to John (Marlene) Frontino, Prudie Frontino (Michael Wrigley), Sue (Lloyd) Hendricks, Betsy Cunningham, Sam (Mindy) Frontino and Amy (Tony) Periandri; also 15 great-grandchildren. Sister of Martha (Harry) Closson, Trenton, N.J. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. Brief funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by requium service at Holy Ascension of Christ Orthodox Church, Colver, the Very Rev. Andrew Matychak. Committal, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
