HOMAN – Mary Jo "Bunny" (Lucas), 65, Vinco, died July 15, 2009, at home surrounded by her family. Born April 9, 1944, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Susanne (Dallee) Lucas. Preceded in death by husband, George, and father, Joseph. Survived by children, Lorrie (Fred) Meier, Vinco; George, Ebensburg; Jamie (Rich) Homan-Freidhoff, Parkhill; and Christie Homan, Vinco; mother, Susanne; grandchildren, Devin, Brandon, Dilin, Kaylee and Conner; great-granddaughter, Chloe; brother, Paul (Barbara) Lucas, Virginia; and many other family and friends. A special thanks to Krissy Yarnell and Windber Hospice. Member of St. John Vianney Church, Mundys Corner. She was a bus driver for First Student. Mary Jo's life was her children and grandchildren. She will be forever in their hearts. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, the Rev. Paul Robine, celebrant. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windber Hospice.
