KLAMM - David Douglas, 55, a longtime resident of the Ebensburg Center, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center with members of his Ebensburg Center family present. Born April 22, 1954 in Union City, son of the Rev. Glenn H. Klamm and Elinor Brown Klamm. David was preceded in death by his father. Survived by his mother, Elinor, of Lynchburg, Virginia and brothers and sisters: Harvey L. Klamm, Lynchburg; Roy D. Klamm, Bloomington, IL; Vera Torres, Knoxville, TN; and Joyce Coble of Pleasant Garden, NC. Also survived by his Ebensburg Center family and staff. David enjoyed music, ice cream trips, going to the movies, and visits by his family. Friends will be received from noon until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, with Ebensburg Center Chaplain Staff officiating. Interment at Mt. Hermon Cemetery, Cambria Twp.
