GAMBINO – Catherine P., 85, Twin Rocks, died Aug. 16, 2009, at home. Born Aug. 18, 1923, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Andrew Sr. and Catherine (Phillips) Sekerak. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Gambino; brothers, Paul and Andrew Jr.; and sister, Elizabeth. Survived by brother, Joe, and sisters, Sophie, Theresa, Mary Ann and Helen. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was an aunt that told good stories that made the nieces and nephews laugh often, and was famous for her peanut butter fudge. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or service. Inurnment will be held privately at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo. Memorial contributions may be made to SS. Timothy and Mark Catholic Church in Twin Rocks.
